Rand riding for Tess

Patroller Rand Mange wanted to share the following:

I along with my friend Paul will be riding a stationary bike at Shoreline Fitness in Clinton on March 3, 2012 for three hours. Our goal is to raise $1000.00 to help a 4 y/o girl from Clinton who is battling Leukemia.

She has been battling this disease for 18 months and has a long road ahead of her.

The CT Sports Foundation is a one that I believe strongly in and have been involved with for over 3 years. 97% of all the money that is raised goes directly to CT families that are going through their tragic battle. If Paul and I raise $2000.00 we can both ride for 3 hours and not split the 3 hours up between us. We both know that times are tough, just imagine how much tougher it is for these families. Please take the time and donate what you can, every dollar matters.

Thank you in advance for your help in our fundraising.  Remember its tax deductible.

Pin Ceremony 2012

It happens after a tough 8 months as a National Ski Patrol Candidate. OEC training, quizzes, final exams, final scenarios, then skiing, skills and toboggan. Sometimes we are sure they thought the training and testing would never end.

But last week it did, and Sarah and Corey didn’t even know it.

Until yesterday when Patrol Director Ron Fenner sprung the successful completion of their Candidate year on them. Their surprised reaction makes this video an instant classic

If you enjoy this video half as much as Corey and Sarah were excited to get their Patroller pins, that would be something!
